Radoviš, March 18, 2026 – DPTU “Buchim” DOOEL Radoviš, for the fourth consecutive year, hosted a group of students from UiT The Arctic University of Norway, as part of the continuous and successfully established international cooperation with the academic community.
The group, consisting of 20 students from several European countries, represented a true example of international academic exchange, bringing together diverse educational profiles, experiences, and perspectives in the field of geology and mining.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to closely familiarize themselves with Buchim’s key operational processes, from geological exploration, through extraction, to copper ore processing, as well as with the application of modern technologies, high safety standards, and a systematic approach to environmental protection.
A particular value of the visit was the direct contact with real industrial processes, which enabled a practical understanding of the complexity of mining operations and the role of responsible management of natural resources.
“For the fourth consecutive year, we are implementing this cooperation with UiT The Arctic University of Norway, which represents a clear continuity in our efforts to connect education with industry. Through such visits, students gain practical knowledge and a realistic picture of the sector, which is essential for their further development,” stated Kristina Krsteva, Director of Sustainable Development.
As a company with a clear orientation toward modern and responsible operations, Buchim continuously develops its role as a partner of educational institutions, actively contributing to knowledge exchange, enhancement of practical education, and the building of future generations of skilled professionals in an international context.
